Payment Due Dates

Tuition Payments

Monthly payments are due on the 1st of the month, September-June (10 payments). A late fee of $10 will be assessed if payment is not received by the 10th of the month.

Fees

  • $25 per-family registration fee; due upon registration

  • $60 costume fee ($65 for Ballet 3-5), due December 1

  • $50 performance fee, due March 1

All fees are non-refundable

Important Dates

  • September 3-6 Class Meetings

  • September 9 Start of term

  • October 14-19 Observation Week (Elementary and Ballet 1 only)

  • October 24-30 Costume Week (Halloween, fall, or any dance costume)

  • October 31 No classes for Ballet 1A, Ballet 1B, and Creative Movement

  • November 18-23 Parent/Teacher Conferences

  • November 27-30 Thanksgiving break; no classes

  • December 2-7 Observation week (all classes)

  • December 16-21 Costume week (Christmas, winter, or Nutcracker theme)

  • December 23-January 4 Winter break; no classes

  • January 6 Classes resume

  • February 3-8 Observation Week (Elementary and Ballet 1 only)

  • February 10-15 Costume Week (Valentine’s Day, love, pink/purple/red)

  • March 17-22 Observation Week (all classes)

  • March 24-29 Parent/Teacher Conferences

  • April 7-12 Spring break; no classes

  • April 26 Student Showcase (students enrolled in Character, Variations,

  • and Modern Improv)

  • May 5-10 Observation Week (Elementary and Ballet 1 only)

  • May TBD Class pictures at studio

  • May 24-26 Memorial Weekend; no classes

  • June 2-11 Rehearsal period for summer concert; students will have

  • rehearsals at the studio instead of regular classes

  • June 12 Blocking/Tech Rehearsal at theater

  • June 13 Dress Rehearsal at theater

  • June 14 Summer Concert

Note on Holidays

 

The Academy of Dance will not close for Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day, Veterans Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day or Presidents Day, although we will be closed for Memorial Day. Students are encouraged to come to class on these days. If the student is unable to attend on one of these days, contact the office to schedule a make-up class.

Halloween 2024 Note: Ballet 1A, 1B, and Evening Creative Movement will not meet on Halloween, but all other classes will meet as scheduled. Students in the canceled classes may come to a make-up class.
